Usakhelauri is referred to a very ancient variety of red wine grape. Apart from being so ancient, Usakhelauri red wine grape variety is very unique and rare. This is the reason why the wines of this  grape variety are seen sipped by the people once in a blue moon. The vines of this red wine grape variety are considered as highly-prized wines because of the unique and rare existence of this grape variety.

Grape Variety:  – Usakhelauri  is one of the rarest grape on earth.  It is grown on the mountain slopes of the Lechkhumi, Western Georgia. Usakhelauri is the premier wine grape of Georgia. The name “Usakhelauri” means “nameless” in Georgian, which translates in meaning to a cross between “beyond words”, and “priceless” due to its exceptional, and unparalleled quality.

Taste:   This red wine grape variety is concerned with the production and preparation of the velvety and semi-sweet red wines that are very tasteful as to their nature. intensive crimson with blue tinge while young. Aroma of mature prunes, cherry and blackcurrant. Bouquet of licorice and butter. Body is rich and well-structured with velvety tannin softened by naturally retained sweetness. This wine has a long lasting and impressive aftertaste.

Perfect with  red meat and game, mature cheese are elegant choice.

Best to enjoy at 12– 15°C.
